"LYNN BLETHEN Lynn "Blitz" Blethen, 76, of Pahrump, died May 6, 2007. He was born Dec. 15, 1930, in Crystal Lake, Ill. He was a 22 year resident of Pahrump. He was an active job superintendent for the construction industry, building hotels and commercial buildings all over the United States. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, having tours of duty in Korea, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and other decorations. "Blitz" is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Shawn (Denise) of California, and Robert (Janet) of Nevada; daughter, Sheila (Bill) Casto; and granddaughter, Casey. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 4, at the Pahrump VFW, 4651 S. Homestead Road. The service will be conducted by The Marine Corps League. Donations in his memory, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Marine Corps League, P.O. Box 5481, Pahrump, NV 89041.".
